USC have a detailed plan, CAMPUS VIDA, designed to promote international excellence and improve the link with socioeconomic environment. Campus Vida was approved as “Campus de Excelencia Internacional” by a committee of experts from the Spanish government.
USC count on an extensive patent portfolio, of which 75% match the biomedical and biotechnological areas. USC has a TTO more than 25 years old, that is a key player in the dissemination and commercialization of its new knowledge; it is constantly seeking potential partners for the development of new products and services.
USC is one of the pioneer universities in assuming an active entrepreneurial role in Spain, so that we count on business incubator facilities, venture capital societies and structures in order to support businesses development for spinouts that arise from the research results.
